The first trailer of actor Saif Ali Khan's most-anticipated film Laal Kaptaan was released recently, and it has already left netizens stunned. The actor is seen in a never-before avatar, in the role of a naga sadhu. In the first chapter of the trailer, which is titled The Hunt, Saif is being potrayed as wrathful and dangerous assassin. With a red teeka on his forehead and dark kohl-rimmed eyes, his hair tied in a bun and face smeared with ash, Saif cuts an imposing picture, and social media is enthralled.
Sonakshi Sinha makes a cameo in the film, and her voiceover can be heard in the trailer, too. And now adding to the excitement, we have got hold of Sonakshi's first look from the film. Dressed like a nautch girl with a veil covering half her face and wearing chunky jewellery, she looks stunning. See for yourself:
Talking about her character, Navdeep told a leading daily, “Hers is a special appearance, but pivotal to the story. At this point, I’d like to leave that a mystery. All I can say is, it adds the glamour quotient to the film.”
Meanwhile, Deepak Dobriyal will also be seen in the revenge drama as a character who tracks down an animal or a man by following his scent. "We went through a number of changes before finalising on this one. He is a phenomenal actor and knows how to take a character further. Deepak's comic timing was the reason we chose him for the role," Navdeep told another daily. Here's Deepak's first look from the film:
Laal Kaptaan is scheduled to release on October 18.
