I still respect and wish the best for her: Himansh Kohli on his equation with ex-girlfriend Neha Kakkar post breakup

Neha Kakkar, as much as she is known for her chartbuster songs, remained to be a constant in media for her fairytale-like romance with Himansh Kohli which ended up into a bitter breakup. The singer, who was proposed by the actor on the sets of Indian Idol 10, never shied away from coming out in the open about them parting ways and even sent out cryptic posts through her Instagram account, hinting at facing a mentally strenuous phase. But it was Himansh who never spoke on it and moved on silently. And now, during an interview with a leading daily, the Yaariyan star broke his silence and said he has no bad feelings for the Aankh Marey singer and still has the equal amount of respect for her. Calling her a fabulous artist and a wonderful person, Himansh said he wishes the best for her.

“It has been a year now and looking back, I never felt like talking about it. Whatever happened has happened. I can’t change it now. I still respect and wish the best for Neha. In bad times, we don’t stop respecting each other. She’s a fabulous artist and a wonderful person. I just wish that she gets whatever she wants in life and blessed with happiness and good health,” Himansh told during the interview.

Himansh further added that if he gets a chance to work with Neha in the future, he would not miss the opportunity. “If good offers come our way, as a professional, I’d definitely work with her. Our song, Oh Humsafar (2018), was a huge hit and got millions of views. People still say nice things about it. So, I will never say no to working on an interesting project with Neha,” Himansh added.

Neha and Himansh called it quits early within three months of making their relationship official early this year. The ex-couple, during the good times, had shot for a music video together titled Oh Humsafar, raising eyebrows with their chemistry. Post parting ways, Neha released a video Tera Ghata to give us a hint about their breakup. Not just this, she deleted all posts with Himansh from her social media account.
