He is amazing and I’ve always admired him: Priyanka Chopra Jonas claims there was 'never an issue' with Salman Khan post 'Bharat' fiasco

Priyanka Chopra is back in India to promote her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, directed by Shonali Bose and co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film is slated to release on October 11. But as we all know, The Sky Is Pink wasn't supposed to be her Bollywood comeback film. Instead, PeeCee was expected to star in Salman Khan's Bharat. However, she could not do the film due to her wedding with singer Nick Jonas. Clearly, Priyanka's decision to back out last minute from the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial did not go well down with Salman, who got upset and took jibes at you while promoting the film.

Now during a recent interview with a leading daily, Priyanka finally addressed Salman's sarcastic comments towards her and said, "The only thing I’d say is that if there was a reaction required you’d have had it by now. Salman is amazing. I’ve always admired him. He came for Nick and my reception, we went to his house, I’m really close to his sister (Arpita Khan). So, there’s never an issue with him."

Coming back to The Sky Is Pink, the film is a romantic drama about a couple, played by Priyanka and Farhan, who lose their daughter (Zaira) to pulmonary fibrosis.
