‘How dare we fail you?’ Priyanka Chopra Jonas applauds and thanks Climate Change activist Greta Thunberg for a ‘much needed punch in the face’

Climate Change has become one of the biggest issues of concern the world over and the future generations are thankfully waking up to its impact on our planet. In an extremely impassioned speech, young activist Greta Thunberg repeatedly asked the world leaders, “How dare you?” at UN's Climate Action Summit in New York. The 16-year-old climate crusader was hailed for her speech by Priyanka Chopra Jonas even though she was snubbed by US President Donald Trump in a tweet.

In an equally moving post, Priyanka who is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador herself wrote, “How dare we fail you... And what audacity we have to not want to help you save what's left? Thank you @gretathunberg for giving us the much-needed punch in the face, for bringing your generation together and showing us that we need to know better, do more to save what is most critical. At the end of the day, we only have this one planet. #howdareyou.” She also shared glimpses of Greta’s speech on social media.

Interestingly, a video of Greta staring at President Trump with an extremely angry look at the Climate Summit has taken the internet by storm and is going viral.

Greta is from Sweden and traveled for two weeks on a solar-powered sailboat to reach the United States. At the Summit she is joined by millions of young crusaders for a climate strike that she started in New York.
