'You cannot have a better jodi than them', says director Siddharth Anand on casting Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in 'War'

Siddharth Anand returns to directing Hrithik Roshan in his new film War after the 2014 release, Bang Bang. He collaborates with the film's other hero, Tiger Shroff, for the first time. The filmmaker sounded confident about casting Hrithik and Tiger.

When asked about casting Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in his film, Siddharth instantly replied, "I think it is about 'jodis'. If it is Hrithik, then there can be no one else but Tiger. If it was somebody else other than Hrithik, then we could find somebody else. You couldn't have a better jodi than Hrithik and Tiger."

When asked, who among Tiger and Hrithik is better in terms of fitness and flexibility of body, he replied: "I think my decision to take them in this film stems from the fact that both of them are equal on every count. I don't know if what I can rate any one of them higher because they both are so passionate about what they do that they give their everything to it. So, I think I will give both of them ten on ten for effort."

War also stars Vaani Kapoor and the film is slated to hit the screens on October 2.
