'Welcome back,' says Twitter as Rishi Kapoor returns from NYC with wife Neetu Kapoor at 11 months, 11 days


The nation on Tuesday woke up to the pleasant news of Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor returning to Mumbai on Monday night. The actor, who was in New York City for his cancer treatment made a cheerful arrival in the city and we couldn't be happier. The Agneepath actor, upon coming back home, shared his happiness through his social media platform and expressed his joy with a sweet message.

Rishi, on Twitter, wrote, "BACK HOME!!!!!! 11 Months 11days! Thank you all!". Soon after, his Bollywood friends along with several social media users welcomed him back. Farhan Akhtar, who starred with Rishi in Luck By Chance, said, "Welcome back" while Adnan Sami sent out love and wrote, "Welcome back!! Thrilled!!". Along with B-Town, the actor's fans went on to send their good wishes. One user wrote, "What better ocassion to be back, Bappa is here" while the other called the Mulk actor and Neetu warriors. He wrote, "You are a warrior sir, not just a survivor. ur spirit is unbeatable. But I must say family support matters most during difficult times , especially ur wife, Neetu mam".

Rishi and Neetu travelled to New York City in September last year for the former's cancer treatment. Amidst several speculations, the Kapoors maintained silence but it was in April this year that the nation got to know about Rishi's illness. At that time, he was pronounced cancer-free. During his stay in NYC, several Bollywood celebrities paid a visit to the Kapoor couple to spend quality time together. Now, that the actor is back, all we can hope is to see him back in action.
