'Bohot impatient ho gayi main': Shraddha Kapoor on her decision to drop out of college to join Bollywood

Shraddha Kapoor is currently on a roll at the box-office, with back-to-back releases in two weeks. Her latest film Saaho, starring Telugu superstar Prabhas, opened across four languages on Friday, and Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore is slated to release in the next weekend. Chhichhore features Shraddha with Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Naveen Polishetty among others. The actress recently appeared on Kapil Sharma's show, The Kapil Sharma Show, along with the star cast and revealed why she decided to drop out of college and pursue acting.

Recalling how she planned to complete her college education first but got impatient to join the showbiz, Shraddha said, "Actually, pehle plan thi ki education aur college khatam karungi, phir acting mein aaungi. Lekin bahut impatient ho gayi main. Wapas aa gayi toh offers aane lage. Auditions ke offers, film offers nahi. Toh mujhe laga ki chalo, drop out karti hoon." However, she advised her followers not to follow her path and only take their decisions by heart. "Guys, main yeh advise nahi karti ki drop out karo, jo aapke dil mein hai, woh karo," she added.
