After much delay, Rajinikanth's and Akshay Kumar's 2.0's China release gets a new date

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar led- Shankar directorial 2.0 is undoubtedly one of the grandest and spectacular films released and made in India. The film, after shattering all box-office records across domestic markets, was gearing up to set the box office ringing in China on July 12, 2019, but however, it faced a slight hiccup owing to the release of The Lion King. After several delays, the film is finally scheduled to open on September 6, 2019-if a poster of the film is to be believed. 

The latest poster of 2.0 aka 2.0: Resurgence in China, it will receive a grand welcome on September 6. The film, if reports are to be believed, will be releasing across 56,000 screens including 49,000 3D screens. For those caught unaware, 2.0 is the first Tamil film with a Chinese dubbed version.

This isn't the first time when 2.0 China release has been postponed. The film, touted to be the costliest Indian feature ever made, was initially scheduled to release in May this year, although, it got pushed to July and now, September. Well, we hope the Chinese get to watch this masterpiece in September without any further delays.

Talking about 2.0, HY Media has taken charge of the distribution rights in China. The film features Rajinikanth as the scientist Vaseegaran and a robot named Chitti. Akshay is the main antagonist Pakshiraj, an Ornithology. The film was originally released on November 29,2018.
