Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh is the power couple of Bollywood. They are at the top of their game and continue to make headlines for their love for each other and shelling out couple goals. The two tied the knot in a fairytale wedding last year in Italy and followed it up with lavish receptions in India. In a recent interview, Deepika shared what drew her to Ranveer.
Deepika said that with Ranveer there is no holding back. He is extremely good at articulating his feelings and is genuine. She said, “There is no pretence with him, no holding back...People hate him or love him for that, but that’s who he is. He’s genuine...very good at articulating his feelings. He’s not afraid to cry. That’s what got me.”
Deepika and Ranveer dated for six long years before they got hitched. They have worked in three films together – Goliyon Ki Rasleela-Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. They will once agin be sharing screen space in Kabir Khan’s sports drama ’83 that is based on India’s first World Cup win. Ranveer essays the role of Kapil Dev in the film while Deepika will play Kapil’s wife Romi Dev’s role in it. She is also co-producing the film.
