Armaan Jain, the cousin of Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who made his big-screen debut with Lekar Hum Deewana Dil got engaged to his sweetheart Anissa Malhotra on July 30 in a private, dreamy ceremony with close family and friends present. The actor, soon after exchanging the ring, penned a heartfelt note for his beloved fiancee along with a picture from the moment he purposed her. The picture from the grand ceremony was adorable beyond words and there ain't a denial.

With the picture, Armaan described the moment in beautiful words and even said he rehearsed his lines for the proposal but forgot then when the moment actually arrived. Calling Anissa his 'jaan' he thanked her for being his backbone, pillar of strength and sticking to him through thick and thin. He further added that his 'Armaan' was to be with his Anissa. Armaan's sister Karisma, who was present at the engagement ceremony sent out her love to both of them. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, a cousin to Armaan also sent an array of heart icons to them.

Anissa and Armaan, after dating each other for 7.5 years, exchanged the ring of togetherness this week.
