Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra to team up for yet another film to mark YRF's 50th anniversary?

Shah Rukh Khan and Yash Raj Films are synonymous to each other and there ain't a denial about it. The actor, in his 27 years of career, has given some of his memorable films with the renowned production house including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Darr, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Chak De! India amongst numerous ones. And now, as the production house established by the Late Yash Chopra turns fifty next year, we hear Shah Rukh will be collaborating with the current chief Aditya Chopra for a romantic film. Shah Rukh, who shared a family-like relationship with Yashji and continues to do so, remained the obvious choice to bring in the celebration of achieving this milestone.

As per a report in a leading daily, sources close to Yash Raj Films have told that a big announcement to mark the golden jubilee, as well as the collaboration, will be made soon. But until everything is official, the production house prefers to keep the news secretive and remain in denial mode. If this project happens for real, it will be of a great benefit to both, who seem to be sailing through a rough patch in their respective careers.

Shah Rukh and Aditya, last time teamed up for Fan, which unfortunately turned out dull at the box office and did no good to either of them. Apart from that, Aditya has been witnessing a series of box office failures with Befikre, Thugs Of Hindostan, Mardaani and Hichki to name a few. The scenario with Shah Rukh ain't different as his two biggies- Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero failed to create any spark. Although dull on the acting part, the actor has now turned to production and has bankrolled two Netflix projects namely Bard Of Blood and Betaal

Speaking of Shah Rukh returning to the silver screen as an actor, it is reported that he will reprise Amitabh Bachchan's role from Satte Pe Satta for its remake, directed by his friend Farah Khan. Apart from that, it is also said that the actor has liked an idea of a film by Rajkumar Hirani. Though there isn't any concrete update on the same and till any further updates turn up, all we can do is hope that our beloved King Khan returns to the multicrore collection club soon.
