I don't have the right to speak on it and it's a very sensitive topic for me: Parineeti Chopra reacts to Priyanka Chopra's smoking picture controversy

Priyanka Chopra landed into a grave situation of extreme trolling after a picture from her 37th birthday celebrations in Miami went viral. In one of those pictures, the actress was seen smoking a cigarette with her husband Nick Jonas and mother Madhu Chopra in attendance. Soon, Twitter began slamming her for flagging off a campaign against pollution caused during Diwali in India by citing that she is asthmatic. Although Priyanka hasn't been quizzed about the controversy, her cousin sister Parineeti Chopra, who was a part of the celebrations was probed into this matter. Parineeti, who is currently promoting her upcoming film Jabariya Jodi, during an interview was quizzed about the smoking picture. The actress, in response to this, told she isn't in a position to comment on it and said it is a sensitive topic for her.

"I don't have the right to speak on it and I don't want to speak on it. It's about my sister and it is a very very sensitive topic for me. I just don't want to get into it. But I just wish everybody to stop and rethink what would have happened and not write rubbish," Parineeti told during the interview.

Speaking of Parineeti, post Jabariya Jodi, she will kickstart the shoot for Girl On The Train remake followed by Saina Nehwal's biopic, for which she has been training hard for the last few months.
