The 'Lady in White' as people fondly address her as, brought distinguished personalities from politics, business, sports and entertainment together on the couch of Rendezvous With Simi Garewal as they gave a peek into their lives. Now, after almost 15 years since the show aired its last episode, Simi is gearing up to bring it on board once again and guess what, she has her first pair of guests ready. As per reports of a leading daily, Simi, during an interview with them, said Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have given their nod to make an appearance together on the show. It is also said that the couple, who will make their appearance for the first time as a couple, will open the fresh season of Rendezvous With Simi Garewal.
"I have never revealed names till I've shot the episode. But I'll reveal this — Deepika and Ranveer have promised their first interview together for Rendezvous," Simi told during the interview.

When asked about a change in the format, Simi said it will remain the same and she insisted to keep the format restricted to pure heart-to-heart conversation sans gossips. "Why would I change the format to include more gossip and games? People resort to games when they cannot make a conversation. It's an easy way out! No research needed! But Rendezvous is about getting to 'know' the person. I get many messages from viewers saying they are tired of the present format of talk shows," Simi added.
As per the current buzz, the new season of Rendezvous With Simi Garewal will be converted into a YouTube show and is said to be aired on Simi's own channel on the platform. Speaking of the first season, it was aired on Star Plus and featured guests like Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan, Rekha and Kareena Kapoor Khan amongst others.
