Tarun Arora aka Anshuman from Jab We Met to return to Bollywood as an antagonist in Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb?

Kareena Kapoor Khan's and Shahid Kapoor's Jab We Met was iconic in its own ways. Be it songs or characters, the film left a permanent mark in Bollywood. Amongst all, one actor surely caught attention for his natural acting in the Imtiaz Ali directorial was Tarun Arora aka Geet's boorish boyfriend Anshuman. A great actor Tarun, currently active in films down South, went missing from Bollywood after Jab We Met. Now, as per the latest reports, he will be making a comeback with Akshay Kumar's horror comedy Laxmmi Bomb as the antagonist.

For the unversed, Tarun starred in Kanchana 3, directed by Raghava Lawrence, who has helmed the Muni series which is remade in Hindi as Laxmmi Bomb. In the original film, the antagonist is a corrupt MLA and this character trait will be retained for the Hindi one too. “Like in the original, the Hindi villain is also a corrupt MLA, and Raghava, who has worked with Tarun in Kanchana 3, which released in April this year believes that he is apt for the part. His new avatar is very different from his Jab We Met character. The formalities are currently underway," the source told the daily. The makers, meanwhile are on a hunt for an actor to step in as Tarun's younger brother.
