Owing to his unparallel fame and growing popularity, fans flock to his residence-Galaxy Apartments as well as queue up outside sets where he shoots for films. Now, as the actor is neck deep into an interesting lineup of films, he headed to Phaltan near Pune in Maharashtra to shoot for his upcoming film Dabangg 3, the localities gathered to catch a glimpse of their idol. Dabangg 3, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan, Nikhil Dwivedi. The film is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019. The principal shoot of the film began in April with the team flying to Indore. The first shot of the film took place in Mandleshwar and Maheshwar. Apart from Salman, Dabangg 3 stars Sonakshi Sinha, Kannada star Sudeep and Late Vinod Khanna's brother Pramod Khanna in important roles. During an interview with a leading daily, Salman gave an insight into the film's story and said it will be a prequel to the previous Dabangg films and shall trace Chulbul Pandey's journey to becoming the Robinhood of the area. "The story starts with Dabangg 3 in the present and then it goes back to the past and then comes back to the present day again. It will have a prequel portion, but only as a flashback," Salman said.
