The team of the upcoming thriller Batla House including its lead cast John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur along with Nora Fatehi unveiled the trailer of the film in the city today. During the launch event, John spoke about the much-talked clash of the film with Akshay Kumar's-Vidya Balan's-Sonakshi Sinha's-Taapsee Pannu's space film Mission Mangal. The actor clarified that there is nothing bitter between him and Akshay and added that there is enough room for multiple films to release on the major weekend of Independence Day. John sportingly said that people will get to watch two good films.

"Honestly, if there was a controversy, I would have loved to create it but Akshay and me are really good friends. We really get along. In fact, parso hi humne ek doosre ko message kiya. There is absolutely nothing. Hum sirf do films release kar rahe hai ek din mein. There is enough space. Audience gets to choose from two good films. Ek toh main keh sakta hoon ki humari film bohot achchi hai. At least one choice the audience has ki ek toh achchi hai. I hope the other two films are also good. That's all I can hope for. But August 15 is a great day," John told during the launch event.
