Kangana Ranaut vs Journalist row: Rangoli Chandel jumps in support of her sister, shares screenshots on social media

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday landed into yet another controversy when she accused a journalist of launching a 'smear campaign' against her, at the song launch event of her upcoming film, Judgementall Hai Kya, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. The actress further alleged that he misquoted her on social media during the release of her last film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The journalist, however, dismissed her claims and asked her for proof. While Kangana has kept mum on the issue since then, her sister Rangoli Chandel, who also happens to be her spokesperson, has jumped into her defense by sharing screenshots on social media.

Questioning how dare the journalist 'mock Manikarnika’s name and openly lie that he never wrote anything about it', Rangoli shared a series of posts by the journalist and wrote:

She went on to share a picture of the journalist posing with Kangana and asked how the so-called liberal 'can they mock a national hero like Manikarnika for their petty mind set,' further asking the government to take a strict against them.

Here's what she tweeted next:

Meanwhile, Kangana's upcoming film Judgementall Hai Kya, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, is set to release on July 26, 2019. Apart from that, Kangana has Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga and the recently-announced Dhaakad in the pipeline.
