Vicky Kaushal made his debut in Bollywood with 2015 film Masaan, co-starring Richa Chadha. Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and backed by Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga, the social drama was set in Varanasi and its storyline transcended the restrictions of a casteist society. While the film established Vicky and Richa as fabulous actors, it made Guneet one of the most successful producers in Bollywood. Now after four years, it seems the trio - Vicky, Richa and Guneet - are all set to reunite again to carve their magic on the silver screen.
According to a report in a leading daily, Vicky and Richa recently met Guneet for an upcoming show where they walked down memory lane and reminisced their Masaan days. In fact, Richa shared pictures from their reunion on social media too. “They are coming together for a brand new project — a digital original film — with Richa and Vicky as leads and Guneet producing it. Recently, they had a meeting to lock everything and the film will go on floors soon,” the daily quoted a source as saying.
Well, we certainly cannot be more elated to see the two firebrand actors team up with the ace producer again!
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky has Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship and Sardar Udham Singh biopic in the pipeline. On the other hand, Richa has Shakeela biopic and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga to look forward to.
