I felt only Tiger Shroff had the power to stand in front of me: Hrithik Roshan on Siddharth Anand's action film

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has been extremely busy lately. While he is overseeing post-production on Super 30 - set to release this month, Hrithik is also working out three hours every day. Not to foget, he is shooting for his untitled film with Yash Raj Studios with Tiger Shroff. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the Hrithik-Tiger starrer is perhaps the most sensational casting decision taken under consideration at YRF Studios recently. But did you know Hrithik was tempted take up the high-octane action film, but on the condition that Tiger would also do the film? Yes, you heard that right! For those of you who are wondering, Hrithik apparently feels that only Tiger has the power to stand in front of him.

Speaking about it in an interview with a leading magazine, Hrithik said, “After doing movies like Kaabil and Super 30, I needed a force that would drive me to be my best. I was getting too complacent, and I felt only Tiger had the power to stand in front of me and make me look like a piece of shit. I don’t think anyone else would’ve ignited me the way he has.”

The celebrated actor further revealed that he's taking cues from Gen Z, in terms of choosing more breakthrough roles. “I’ve done some very lonely characters, and now I want to have fun. My YRF film with Tiger has been so enjoyable. So I’m open to doing more of these two-hero films and ensembles, as well as incredible one-off characters in smaller films. Right now, I’m looking for the niches, as well as the big fun projects," he said. Further discussing the idea of consciously choosing films that deeply move him, Hrithik claimed that it takes a lot out of him to do the simplest things that other actors do instinctively. "That's why I need to find stories that fuel me to go through the entire process — to wake up at 6 o'clock, to take the aching back, knees, shoulders, the broken bones, and do what I do. Super 30 just hit it out of the park for me, especially the climax," he was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, PeepingMoon.com had exclusively informed you that YRF is reportedly looking for a powerful title that will be relevant to the October 2 release which is a slick, face-off thriller, also starring Vaani Kapoor. In fact, there is genuine contemplation in the studios about the feasibility of calling Hrithik-Tiger thriller Dhoom 4. However, we await for an official confirmation now.
