Akshay Kumar to turn guest commentator for Pro Kabaddi League match scheduled for July 27?

Akshay Kumar was leaving for London with his wife Twinkle Khanna and daughter Nitara on July 1. However, he was forced to abort travel plans to because of the heavy downpour and his departure was delayed by a day. Now as per a report in a leading daily, Akshay shot a special promo for the Pro Kabaddi League at Mehboob Studios in Bandra, on Monday before he was supposed to take a flight to the Queen's City. And guess what? The actor is expected to turn guest commentator for a kabaddi match in Mumbai scheduled for July 27.

"The league kick-starts in Hyderabad on July 20 and comes to Mumbai a week later. Considering Akshay has championed the cause of sports over the years, he has been requested to be the guest commentator for the maiden match in the city. He will also kick off the proceedings by singing the national anthem," a leading daily quoted a source as saying. Interestingly, his stint perfectly times with promotions of his next, Mission Mangal. While the final details will be worked out closer to the match, depending on Akshay's schedule, we cannot wait to see him in his new found avatar.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay has an eclectic lineup of films ahead. Apart from Mission Mangal, he will also feature in Sooryavanshi, Good News, Laxmmi Bomb, and Housefull 4.
