We must understand her dilemma: Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel supports Zaira Wasim's decision to quit Bollywood

Zaira Wasim, who rose to fame with her act in Aamir Khan's blockbuster Dangal, sent shockwaves across Bollywood when she announced on Sunday that she had decided to say goodbye to her film career as she felt her relationship with her religion was threatened. Ever since then, several film personalities inlcuding Nitesh Tiwari, Anupam Kher, Raveena Tandon and others, have reacted to her decision of quitting Bollywood, with some coming in support while some lashing out at her. In fact, recent reports suggest that Zaira has taken the decision under extreme pressure, although she has claimed that her social media accounts were not hacked.

Interestingly, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel, who has been quite vocal about her opinions, has now come out in support of Zaira. Asking people not to bully the young actress and understand Zaira's dilemma, Rangoli tweeted, "People should stop lashing out at Zaira Wasim and try and understand her inner conflicts, what is a kid supposed to do if a religion forbids you from singing, dancing, imitating or depicting life? Rather than bullying her we must understand her dilemma.

She further continued that in the present scenario, there's a need to personalise realigion and not follow what was established thousands years ago.

On the work front, Zaira was last seen in Secret Superstar. She recently wrapped up the shoot of Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink, co-starring Priyanka Chorpa and Farhan Akhtar.
