Sidharth Malhotra already wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming romantic action drama Marjaavaan, co-starring Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh, in March this year. However, the actor has returned to the Milap Milan Zaveri directorial for a special song and guess what, it will be Nushrat Bharucha, who will be shaking a leg with him. According to a report in a leading daily, Nushrat and Sid shot for the song at a suburban studio in Mumbai before shifting to Vasai Fort.
Confirming the same, Nushrat told a leading daily, “The film entered my orbit several times. I’d constantly hear about Marjaavaan at events and parties. At one such gathering, I was randomly told about this song they were doing and told that they were scouting around for a girl. Sid suggested that I do it and everyone was surprised when I agreed instantly. I guess I was destined to be a part of the film.” Sung and composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, the song, titled Peeyu Datke, has been choreographed by Mudassar and is a Rajasthani folk song. “It’s a party track with a desi vibe but also an underground feel which makes for an interesting contrast. Mudassar’s (Khan) choreography is fab and I’m having a blast," the actress added.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar of T-Series and Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment, Marjaavaan is slated to release on October 2, 2019. Apart from a guest spot in Marjaavaan, Nushrat has Hurdang, Dream Girl and Turram Khan in the pipeline.
