Ever since Tara Sutaria claimed on Koffee With Karan that she has a crush on an 'ex Student', gossip mills have been churning reports of her dating Sidharth Malhotra. Although she has always maintained that she's just good friends with Sidharth, speculations around their alleged relationship refuse to die. As Tara is busy promoting her debut film, Student of the Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday, she was asked during one of the promotional interviews if she's indeed dating Sid. To which she replied, "We are not dating. He's my padosi and love thy neighbour for sure. I mean, why not? But well, we are just great friends."
When asked about the kind of conversations she has with her neighbour, Tara said, "We talk often...we talk about our film. I also got my second film with him. Of course, we also talk about other things too. Ananya, Tiger (laughs). It's the whole padosi pyaar kind of a lovely chat." Not to forget, the two are all set to share screen space in Milap Zaveri's Marjaavaan, which also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet in vital roles. When prodded about their chemistry in their first film together, she quipped, "Fireworks toh hai (There are fireworks)."
While Marjaavaan is slated to hit the screens on October 2 this year, Student Of The Year 2, bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and helmed by Punit Malhotra, is releasing on May 10.
