Happy Father’s Day 2019: Here are 15 doting Bollywood Dads who are the epitome of being ‘Daddy Cool’

Fathers are the main and the first heroes of any child’s life. We tend to believe that they have superhuman strength and they can defeat and protect us from any evil. If a mother is a nurturer and primary caregiver, the father is the protector, guide and mentor. Today, when the world is celebrating Father’s Day 2019 by showering love and gratitude on their Dads, we have several doting fathers in Bollywood as well who are great role models for everyone out there.

These celebrity fathers have not only bowled up with their on-screen performance but have won our hearts as well by taking their daddy duties pretty seriously. They spend quality time with their kids and are doting Dads to their munchkins even though some of the so-called kids are no longer minors. Here are some of the most doting fathers of Bollywood who are the epitome of being ‘Daddy Cool’.

Salim Khan

Salim Khan is the patriarch of the most popular ‘Khandaan’ of Bollywood and is the father to Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Sohail Khan and Arpita Khan Sharma. Even though his eldest born is above 50 years-of-age he still commands the respect that is seldom seen. His children might be more popular but Salim Khan’s aura, charisma and sense of humour can pale all of them in comparison. The acclaimed screenwriter is one of the coolest Dads in Bollywood who does not fail to support as well as rebuke his children in public either.

Dharmendra

Dharmendra is Papa dearest to not one but four children who swear by his name. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol might be parents themselves but they are still in awe of their veteran father and his charisma. Dharmendra on his part showers his children with love. From basking in the glory of his son earning his black belt in Kudo to painting or building blocks with his young daughter Akshay is one doting father. He is not afraid to play with ‘pinkish’ toys and give flying kites lessons to his daughter. This Khiladi Kumar does all this and much more with elan and panache.

Ajay Devgn

Ajay might come across as the no-nonsense and dead serious actor in most of his films but he has a very normal outlook for his children whom he wants to keep away from the media glare. From supporting his daughter for being trolled unnecessarily on social media to ensuring and asking the paparazzi to keep away and give privacy to his children, Ajay is a very cool Dad indeed.

Saif became a very young father and ahs three children-Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan. Sara and Ibrahim are his kids from his first wife Amrita Singh while Taimur is Kareena Kapoor’s adorable munchkin who has the entire nation wrapped around his little finger. Saif is probably the epitome of Daddy cool as we saw on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan in which he appeared with Sara. He is often spotted carrying Taimur on his shoulders in Mumbai as well as while vacationing abroad.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan has two son-Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Although Hrithik is divorced, he and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan are doing a great job of co-parenting their sons. From going on vacations together to sharing his son’s band performances on social media, Hrithik is one loving and caring father.
