‘Nothing has changed, we are friends who are teaming up’, says Farhan Akhtar on working with Priyanka Chopra in ‘The Sky Is Pink’

Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are teaming up once again in the film The Sky Is Pink. The film recently wrapped its shooting schedule and has generated a lot of positive buzz for bringing to screens the real-life story of Aisha Chaudhary. In a recent interview with a leading daily, Farhan spoke about his experience of working on the film that is co-produced by Priyanka, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur and directed by Shonali Bose.

Talking about his equation with Priyanka, Farhan said, “Nothing has changed since the time when we were working together on Don (2006). I don’t think she ever felt I was the producer. We were friends. When working on The Sky is Pink, it’s the same feeling, that we are friends who are teaming up." Farhan also heaped praise on Priyanka the way she has grown as an actor and as a global star. He expressed his fondness for her by saying, “more power to her and I hope her career just keeps growing. She is very focused and committed to her work. That will always hold her in good stead.”
