Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy is one of the most popular Telugu films of recent times. The film became such a huge hit that a remake of it in Hindi titled Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani is about to release. Vijay earned himself a huge fan following playing the jilted medical student in the film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In a recent interview with a leading daily, the actor wished all the best to Sandeep and Shahid for Kabir Singh and hoped that the film becomes a huge hit as well.
He told the daily, “My dear friend Sandeep, who directed me in Arjun Reddy, is now done with its Hindi remake, and I can’t wait to see how it has turned out. Knowing Sandeep, he has probably altered the original script-amazing as it was to begin on an exciting, new note. I’ve known Shahid to be a good actor since Ishq Vishk, and I’m sure he’s done an exceptional job in Kabir Singh, too. I want the film to be a massive blockbuster.”
Vijay also said that he will watch Kabir Singh the moment he comes back to Hyderabad as currently, he is shooting in France for his next film Dear Comrade. Kabir Singh is all set to release on June 21.
