Did you know Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday were to make their Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan's My Name Is Khan?

It's known to all that Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan are the best of friends. While the former recently made her debut in Student of the Year 2, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter is too looking at joining Bollywood soon. But did you know the two BFFs were to make their Bollywood debut with SRK and Kajol starrer My Name Is Khan? For those caught unaware, Suhana and Ananya practised walking as background actors in a scene but it did not make it to the final cut, as revealed by Ananya in an interview.

”I actually remember the time when I went on a set with Suhana when Shah Rukh sir was shooting for My Name is Khan. Suhana and I went to visit him on set when he was in America. They were shooting some scene, and Karan (Johar) needed some people to walk around in the background. So, he asked (us) to just walk around and we were like 12 or something and we got so excited. I wore this pink jacket and I was so excited. They took some 7-8 takes and in every take both of us did this like walking and overacting," she told a website. However, once they watched the film in an anticipation for their scene, they realised that it was cut from the film. "We were so upset but that’s one memory I have from my sets," she recalled.

On the work front, Ananya will share screen space alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in Pati Patni Aur Woh, a remake of 1978 film starring Sanjeev Kumar, Ranjeeta Kaur and Vidya Sinha. As far as Suhana’s acting career, her father has time and again said that both his kids, Aryan and Suhana, have to complete their education before taking the plunge into Bollywood.
