The most respected and sought after couple of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan clocked 46 years of their wedding on Monday. Amitabh and Jaya aren't just a perfect couple but phenomenal actors too. To mark this occasion, their son Abhishek Bachchan shared a cutesy picture of his parents on his Instagram account and congratulated them on achieving this milestone.
In the picture shared by Abhishek, Amitabh is seen in a cheerful mood as he warmly hugs Jaya to make for an adorable picture. Jaya is seen with a bright wide smile on her face as she poses with her husband. Abhishek captioned the picture as, "Happy Anniversary to the parentals! Love you both eternally. #46andcounting."
Amitabh and Jaya are parents to Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek. Amitabh and Jaya got married on June 3, 1973, after falling in love with each other on the sets of their films together. Jaya who was an established actress when Amitabh entered Bollywood, was in awe of him since the time they began shooting for Guddi. Amitabh fell for Jaya on the sets of Ek Nazar-if reports are to be believed. The last film in which they appeared together was Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001.
