Baahubali star Prabhas is all geared up for his new film Saaho, which will hit the screens on the Independence Day on August 15 next year. Yesterday, the actor released the first look poster of the film and left the netizens into a tizzy. The film, also starring Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh, has been shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. It promises to provide a pan-India appeal.
Now adding to the excitement, we hear that Salman Khan has been approached for a cameo in the film. Reportedly, Neil, who is playing an antagonist, has suggested Salman's name for it. leading daily quoted a source as saying, “Neil, who is pretty close to Salman, also having worked with him as a villain in Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, is playing the villain in Saaho. He suggested them to approach Salman for a cameo in the film and the makers have asked Salman. He is still to respond whether he will be able to do the film."
While most of the film is shot, we wonder if Salman agrees for the role and makes it a blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Saaho has an ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma, amongst others. A UV Creations production, the film will be presented by T-Series and its Hindi distribution is being taken care of by AA Films.
