Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor have been redefining friendship for the Gen Y with each passing day. As Ananya made her Bollywood debut with SOTY 2 that released on May 10, Shanaya, on her Instagram account shared a tear jerker note for her 'Anne'. Since Shanaya's Instagram account is private, her mother Maheep Kapoor re-posted the picture on her Instagram handle.
Sharing a beautiful picture of hers with Ananya, Shanaya wrote, " We've grown up dreaming together, wishing together, working together, and today your journey has started. We've spoken about this since the day we could just about talk and I'm so happy that this moment has finally come and everyone's going to see you on the big screen. From going to Gaiety Galaxy to watch Agneepath together to watching movies every Friday without fail together, to dancing to every Bollywood song at every club together, your day into our favourite dream world has come, my Anne. I know how hard you've worked for this and you truly deserve all the happiness and success the world has to offer. The most special day, my superstar's entry. I love you."
Shanaya, like Ananya, will be making her entry in the film industry soon but not through acting. She is currently undertaking filmmaking training and working as an assistant on her cousin sister Janhvi Kapoor's Kargil Girl. Shanaya's father, Sanjay Kapoor confirmed this and said, "It's true that Shanaya is working as an assistant on Janhvi's film. It was a joint decision. She was very keen on doing something different to understand the space, rather than just wasting time. Before she wanted to take up a film, she didn't want to be abroad for a three-year-course. Instead, she chose something personal like this."
