Lilly Singh, on Wednesday, shared a picture of hers with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on Instagram straight from the Met Gala 2019 held in New York on May 6. Posing perfectly for a 'family' picture, Lilly announced that Priyanka and Nick have 'adopted' her and 'enjoyed an evening of dress-up' which might be followed by a 'tea party'.
"Photographed here, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra adopt Indian Canadian daughter and enjoy an evening of dress up together. Rumours say a “tea party” is to follow," Lilly captioned the picture.
Prior meeting her 'parents', Lilly met her sister Deepika Padukone after getting knocked over 6 chairs with the dress and posed with her for a #MajorSisterGoals picture. Coming to Lilly's 'parents', Priyanka and Nick stunned in quirky and over the top outfits and took the internet by storm. Fans of Priyanka gave a mixed reaction as some found her look to be bold and complimented her for carrying it with ease and perfection while some called it to be a fashion disaster. Talking about Lilly, she stayed true to the meaning of her name and added a few Lily flowers to her hair that went well with a purple gown.
Workwise, Lilly is all set to be the first Indian woman to get a night show on the International platform while Priyanka wrapped the shoot of her Indian film with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf titled The Sky Is Pink which is directed by Shonali Bose and will star in the Hollywood film Isn't It Romantic. Nick recently launched a music video titled Sucker under the banner of Jonas Brothers.
