The wait is over, folks, as the trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh will release on May 13, makers announced on social media today. Along with the aforementioned information, makers also shared a new poster of Kabir Singh, starring Shahid as the angry young man, and Kiara Advani, as his girlfriend.
Shahid stars as a medical student with severe anger management issues in the film. See the post here:

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda. The teaser of the film released in April and Shahid garnered a whole lot of praise for his role so much so that south superstar Prabhas, after watching it, had said that it “looked better than the original”.

Speaking about the film to a leading daily earlier, Shahid had said that it was not easy for him to “internalize the rage,” adding, "We are trying to make it raw. The role required latent rage as the protagonist is full of angst.”
Kabir Singh is scheduled to release on June 21.
