Varun Dhawan made his foray into Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year and ever since then, he’s garnered a huge fan base when it comes to the ladies. And among them is none other than Ananya Panday, who is all set to make her debut in Student of the Year 2, a sequel to Varun’s 2012 film.
As the young starlet is busy promoting her upcoming film in full swing, she was asked if she was disappointed that Varun (Dhawan) and Siddharth (Malhotra) both could not be a part of SOTY 2. To which she replied, “Of course! I was so disappointed. Even I wanted to dance on the Hook Up Song with them. Excuse me how is this fair at all? (laughs) Yeah I am the biggest Varun Dhawan fan ever like he used to be my wallpaper when the first film came out, you know that shirtless picture of him singing “Papa kehte hain” where he is holding that guitar. That used to be my wallpaper. I was so excited to dance with Sid (Siddharth Malhotra) and him but I am sad now. My chance of 'Hook Up' is missed!”

When prodded if that wallpaper on her phone has changed now, Ananya quipped, “Aww it's Punit (Malhotra) now (laughs). My film is coming so I need to be ready. ( laughs) After the film, it will go back. (Varun's again)”
Well, it seems after Sara Ali Khan, another debutante actress cannot get enough of Varun.
SOTY 2 will hit the theatres on May 10, 2019.
