We’ll know how I'm using the scene with Varun Dhawan in Bharat after the final cut, says director Ali Abbas Zafar

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has confirmed that Varun Dhawan has been cast in a special appearance in his upcoming film Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, a leading entertainment portal reports. Although Ali refused to share details of Varun’s role in Bharat, he said that the actor appears in an interesting scene.

“It was very different. Also, when the film comes out and we do the final cut, we will know how I am using the scene with Varun but it was fun. It is a very interesting scene,” Ali told the portal.

Moreover, Ali said that Varun is his good friend, adding, “He is a great friend and actor. He is a very good boy and we really get along and he is also very fond of Salman and Katrina. It was just a big party on sets when he was there.”

                                                

Several reports are of the opinion that Varun has been cast as young Dhirubhai Ambani in Bharat but of course, we do not have a confirmation on this as yet.

Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. Co-starring Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Nora Fatehi, Bharat is scheduled to release on Eid.
