Vicky Kaushal injured himself while filming Bhanu Pratap Singh’s untitled horror film, a leading daily reports. The 30-year-old actor was filming an action sequence on a ship in Gujarat during the mishap on the sets of the film on Thursday. The injury led to a fracture on his cheekbone and he needed 13 stitches for it.
Sources told the daily that the team was shooting in Alang in the world’s biggest ship-breaking yard. While filming at night on Thursday, Vicky was required to perform a stunt on the ship by running towards the door and opening it.
“Unfortunately, the door fell on him and he was badly hurt. He was rushed to a local hospital by the crew and flown to Mumbai on Friday morning,” the source told the daily, adding that Vicky will consult a doctor in Mumbai as well upon his return.

The film also features Bhumi Pednekar while the report states that the team completed shooting a particular schedule in Mumbai before heading to Gujarat.
Vicky Kaushal is the star of films Masaan, Raman Raghav 2.0, Sanju and Manmarziyaan. He was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike.
