The makers of Punit Malhotra's upcoming film Student Of The Year 2 launched its first song The Jawaani Song this afternoon featuring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria and Aditya Seal. At the song launch event, the star cast was asked what message would they want to put across for the youth audience who has major stress and issues like body shaming, peer pressure and more.
To this, Ananya replied, "I agree with what you are saying. I feel when we are in school we have a lot of pressure and there is a lot going on so when people want to watch a movie they want an escape from that. So, we are providing an escape for them. We are not trying to be their role models. We are just trying to provide them with happiness and joy to get away from that stress so, I think that is a better way of looking at it."
Tiger said, "It is not a heavy film at all. Just come and have fun. It is a film for the youth, it is a film for the families and it is just going to be an entertainment sought of an experience for everybody. Just come have fun and don’t bring your thinking gaps, come, have your popcorn."
Tara agreed and added, "I completely agree with Tiger and Ananya. We are trying to provide absolute entertainment."
