Meri Mitti Mera Desh: Salman Khan’s new Bharat poster takes us back to 1985 as it features him as a proud navy officer

Salman Khan’s Bharat poster of the day took us back to 1985 as it features his character as a navy officer. Dressed in his uniform and a pair of shades, Salman makes a handsome appearance as a navy officer on the poster. “Meri Mitti. Mera Desh,” reads the caption of the poster accompanied with the hashtag #BharatKoSalaam.

Salman’s co-star Katrina Kaif, beautiful in a salwar suit and hair done up in soft curls, also appears on the poster as she puts up an intense expression.

The trailer of Bharat is scheduled to release soon and ahead of it, Salman has been sharing posters of his and other characters from the film.

 

 

The teaser of Bharat had released in January, and depicted that the film spans across the “journey of a man and a nation together” and features Salman as a navy officer, a stunt artiste, an ageing boxer and a coal miner.

Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The film also stars Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Nora Fatehi, and is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.
