Varun Dhawan, who is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Kalank, recently made an appearance on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show Pinch and we must say, he was at his candid best. When Arbaaz asked him to name a celebrity who is more interesting on social media than their real life, Varun immediately took Katrina Kaif’s name and did not shy away from making fun of her. “She is new on social media and appears to be very fun, having a great time with great pictures, sense of humour. Katrina in real life is all about work. She is a horse with blinkers except when she is hungry and wants to eat something. Then also she eats like a horse,” he stated.
Well, not to forget, Varun and Katrina share a great camaraderie. In fact, Arjun Kapoor recently shared a picture of himself with the two of them, where both the boys are seen handing over a Dalmatian trophy to Katrina as a token of their friendship.
Coming back to Pinch, Varun was further asked to name one celebrity among Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Karan Johar, who he would like to follow on Instagram. While he said that he does not need to follow Karan as too much information is already available about him on the internet, Varun added that he would like to follow a joint fan account instead and name it, SalRukh. Interestingly, Varun also switched roles with Arbaaz and read out social media comments about him. By reading one a comment by a user who said, “Thoda socha thoda samjho phir bookie chuno Arbaaz sir,” Varun questioned Arbaaz, to which he replied, “No more bookie. No gambling. Have stopped all this. I enjoy watching IPL on TV.”
