Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria are all set to foray into Bollywood opposite Tiger Shroff in the much-anticipated sequel to Dharma Productions’ 2012 super hit Student of The Year. The trio have already been shooting for the film, which is being directed by Punit Malhotra. Interestingly, we now hear that the lead actors will feature in a remixed version of Kishore Kumar’s hit '70s number Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
A source informed a portal, "The makers have decided to include a remixed version of Kishore Kumar’s hit number Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani from Jawani Diwani (1972). The song will be picturised on Tiger, Tara and Ananya."

Meanwhile, rumours were also rife that Alia Bhatt will perform a "fun dance number" with Tiger. Reportedly, Farah Khan will choreograph Alia for the song while team SOTY 2 also wants to incorporate Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the film in some manner or the other. Alia, Varun and Sidharth made their debut in Bollywood with Student Of The Year in 2012 – the film was directed by Karan Johar.
Coming back to SOTY 2, the film will hit the screens on May 10, 2019.
