How Katrina Kaif had a ‘fairly large hand’ in crafting Vicky Kaushal’s skill

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal appeared on the second season of the talk show TapeCast and had loads of fun discussing about their career in films, family and co-stars. During their interaction, Vicky said that while he was studying in his acting institute, he had to enact Katrina’s hit song Teri Ore from her 2008 film Singh Is Kinng in front of the camera and it was a lot of fun.

“I was in an acting institute. This was back in 2009. Second half of 2009 and one of our exercises was to look into the camera and dance on Teri Ore. As in like we had to express it to the camera and dance on Teri Ore. It’s like the camera is the girl and you have to act it out. So, you talking about your songs just reminded me of that because I’ve done that to a camera in that acting institute. It was your interpretation of the song. Also, being just free. It was like a movement class,” Vicky said on TapeCast.

That’s really interesting, Katrina said, adding, “So, basically one could say that in a small way, I’ve had a fairly large hand in helping you craft your skill.”

Well, yes, Vicky agreed, saying, “I am so thrilled to be sitting with my guru today.”
