Notebook Song Nai Lagda: Zaheer and Pranutan find it difficult to live without each other in this soulful number

The first song from Salman Khan-produced film Notebook, titled Nai Lagda, starring Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, released on Thursday and is quite melodious. Nai Lagda features snippets of Zaheer’s and Pranutan’s love story but with a twist, of course.

As revealed in the trailer of Notebook, Zaheer’s Kabir and Pranutan’s Firdaus haven’t met each other but yet, are in love. Nai Lagda, shot in the picturesque locales of Kashmir, documents Kabir and Firdaus’ feelings and the emotional difficulty that they have to endure in living without each other. Pranutan has been cast as a teacher while her seven students are quite fond of her but eventually, she is asked to choose marriage over her career by her family.
