Rajkumar Hirani hasn’t made a public appearance as such after being accused of sexual harassment in January and after a really long time, was spotted with Atul Agnihotri as he shared a picture with the director on Instagram on February 20. Atul and Hirani were on their way to Delhi as the photograph featured the filmmakers, all smiles, in a chartered flight.
“Enroute Delhi @hirani.rajkumar,” Atul’s caption of the post reads, that has garnered thousands of likes after being made available online. The internet, in fact, is delighted to see Atul and Hirani in the frame as one comment on the thread read, “Two wonderful People in one frame.” Another user also wrote, “Superstars on d way.”

According to an article published on a leading website in January, Rajkumar Hirani was accused of sexual assault by a woman who worked with him in his 2018 film Sanju. The alleged victim claimed that Hirani sexually abused her on more than one occasions over a six-month period between March and September 2018.

Hirani, soon after, had denied the allegations in a statement as he wrote that it is a “false malicious and mischievous story being spread” in an attempt to destroy his reputation. After the allegations surfaced, several celebrities including Javed Akhtar, Dia Mirza and Arshad Warsi, said that Hirani is “one of the most decent human beings,” and found it difficult to believe the accusations against him.
Rajkumar Hirani has made popular films such as the Munna Bhai series, 3 Idiots and PK.
Atul Agnihotri has produced several films including Hello, Bodyguard, O Teri and Salman Khan’s upcoming project Bharat.
