The 13th edition of the prestigious Asia Vision Movie Awards was hosted on February 16, 2019, in Dubai. The annual award ceremony is usually held to honour the various artists of the South Indian film industry. However, several Bollywood celebrities too grace the event and were also being honoured at the big award night.
The event which was started in the year 2006, witnessed its 13th edition at the Global Village in Dubai. Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Kiara Advani and Ayushmann Khurrana attended the event on Saturday. On the other hand, the South Indian celebs such as Trisha, Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi too graced the event with their presence. The awards were given away amidst various wonderful entertainment programs.

Ranveer won the "Best Actor Award" for portraying the role of Alauddin Khilji in the 2018 film Padmaavat.
On the other hand, Ayushmann was given the "Best Actor Critic's Choice Award" for his brilliant acting performance in his 2018 films Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho.
Dhanush too bagged the "Best Actor Critic's Choice Award" for his film Vada Chennai.
Padmaavat actor Jim Sarbh bagged the award for the "Best Actor (Negative Role)".
Actress Kiara Advani was given the "Emerging Star Of The Year Award".
Khatta Meetha actress Trisha Krishnan won the "Best Actress of the Decade Award".
