Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth tied the knot with actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi on February 11 in a grand wedding ceremony. It took place in the presence of the who's who of Tamil film fraternity and several bigwigs of Tamil Nadu. was attended by several political leaders and film celebrities. Once their wedding was concluded, the lovebirds headed out for their honeymoon to Iceland. Sharing two adorable images from the honeymoon, Soundarya and Vishagan looked lovely together.

However, soon after that, she was trolled for posting happy pictures from her honeymoon while the country is mourning the death of the brave hearts martyred in the Pulwama terror attacks.

To the unversed, Soundarya was previously married to businessman Ashwin with whom she has a son. The two married in 2010 but parted ways four years later. This is the second marriage of Vishagan as well.
Having started her career as a graphic designer, Soundarya has worked in films like Baba, Majaa, Sandakozhi and Sivaji. She made her directorial debut with Kochadaiiyaan, in which her father starred. Vishagan, on the other hand, made his acting debut last year with Tamil thriller Vanjagar Ulagam.
