Badla Trailer: Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu set out on discovering the difference between truth and lies in this gritty thriller

The trailer of Sujoy Ghosh's new film Badla, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, has been released and it is thrilling enough to make the wait impossible for its release. In Badla, Big B, cast as lawyer Badal Gupta, helps Taapsee's character after she is seemingly embroiled in a murder.

While discussing her case with Badal Gupta, Taapsee, a married woman with a child, reveals that she was living with another person, Arjun. But whether her relationship with Arjun was the result of an extramarital affair, is unclear as when Badal Gupta asks her about it, she ends up admitting that she only loves her husband and child.

The case untangles after Arjun is murdered and Taapsee becomes the sole suspect with unknown perpetrators blackmailing and threatening to reveal her secret. In the trailer, Taapsee, while narrating her plight to Badal Gupta, tells him that she is being framed in the scene. But Badal Gupta, an accomplished lawyer, has another question to ask with the subtle dialogue, "Woh murkh hota hai jo sirf sach ko hi jaanta hai par sach aur jhooth ke farkh ko nahi jaanta."
