Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film, Gully Boy starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, has been selected for a special screening at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival and will have its world premiere at the fest. Gully Boy has been zeroed in to be screened as part of Berlinale Special, a segment of the film festival which is dedicated to showcase current works of contemporary filmmakers, including films and documentaries.
Alia, Ranveer, Zoya along with producer Ritesh Sidhwani jetted off to Berlin on Thursday night and their pictures from the festival are giving us fashion goals. Dressed in check trousers and colourful pullover complemented with huge glasses and a distinct hairdo, Ranveer was in usual form at the event. He was joined by co-star Alia, who dazzled in a sequinned bodycon dress.
Meanwhile, Zoya played it smart in a Nikhil Thampi suit. Alia even shared a few stunning pictures on her Instagram as she went around the city. She captioned one of the pictures, “Don’t even try and knock me off my loubs.” Ranveer also shared a picture of his latest quirky look with the caption, “Keep it 100.”
The 69th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival is scheduled to be held between February 7 and February 17. Gully Boy, on the other hand, is all set to release on February 14.
