Sara Ali Khan, in her most ‘candid’ interview ever, has shared the ‘weirdest thing’ a fan asked her and you might, or might not be surprised to note that it involves Kareena Kapoor Khan. During her conversation with an eminent journalist, Sara revealed that a fan once referred to Kareena as her mother.
“A person came up to me and said, I shot with your mother Kareena and I was like…Is it normal to talk like that? I was really confused,” Sara said during her interview. Sara is Saif Ali Khan’s first child with former wife Amrita Singh. After Saif and Amrita Singh divorced in 2004, he married Kareena Kapoor in 2012.

Sara has often addressed questions on her equation with Kareena and in fact, during the trailer launch of her debut film Kedarnath, said that she is inspired by the 38-year-old actress and hoped to imbibe her “professionalism” as far as work is concerned. On Koffee With Karan 6 as well, Sara during her appearance on Karan Johar’s show with Saif, had said that Kareena would have a “heart attack” if she is referred to as ‘Choti Ma’ by her.
Kareena, on the other hand, has also spoken fondly of Sara often and recently told an entertainment portal, “I have always said that we are friends more than anything else. That’s the most important. We respect each other.”
