Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Trailer 2 launch: Vidhu Vinod Chopra dodges question on Rajkumar Hirani sexual misconduct row

Amid the raging MeToo movement in India, the entire country was taken by surprise recently after Sanju director Rajkumar Hirani was accused of sexual misconduct by the assistant director of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. Although the filmmaker vehemently denied the allegations and several celebrities from Bollywood came out in his support, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has had a long association with the director, decided to drop Rajkumar's name from his upcoming film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
Now on Monday at the second trailer launch of the Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla starrer, Vidhu was asked to comment on the sexual misconduct allegations leveled against the Munnabhai director. But to everyone's dismay, he was seen dodging the question by stating that they have come here for another purpose and he will speak on the issue at the right time.
The producer further added that the film is about an important subject, which is as important as the question. Here's what he said:
