Ranveer Singh dances to Jumma Chumma at the success party of Simmba and it’s super fun as usual

Ranveer Singh had the time of his life at the success party of his new film Simmba in Mumbai on January 7 as he danced and made merry with co-star Sara Ali Khan, director Rohit Shetty and producer Karan Johar along with other guests including Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. We got a glimpse of it through a video of Ranveer that has surfaced from the party in which he is seen dancing to Amitabh Bachchan’s 1991 superhit track Jumma Chumma from Hum.

Casually dressed in a tee, pants and a jacket along with a bandana, Ranveer looked super cool as he was seen performing Jumma Chumma on the top of the bar at the venue. The crowd cheered for him as he imitated Big B’s steps.

Simmba released on December 28 and fared exceptionally well at the box office. Not only did Simmba emerge as Ranveer’s biggest opener, but it also earned over Rs 150 crore in its first week. Simmba has collected Rs 196.80 crore so far and will soon cross the Rs 200 crore mark. The film was received well by critics also.

Simmba highlights several issues including the empowerment of women and fighting crime against women. It narrates Sangram Bhalerao’s journey as his character undergoes a valiant change in the film – from a corrupt cop, Bhalerao turns into a determined police officer, who sets out on a quest for justice to avenge a woman’s rape and subsequent death.

The film is a remake of Telugu film Temper and casts Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer. It is Sara’s second film after Kedarnath, which marked her debut in Bollywood. Simmba has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Rohit Shetty Picturez.
