With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, everything is always cool, classy and elegant. So their love story was also equally cool. When the two superstars got married their wedding was the biggest wedding ever seen in Bollywood, not because of the number of invitees but the fact that the interest in their nuptials by the media and their fans was the first-of-its-kind. All these Virushka, SonAnand, DeepVeer and NickYanka wedding came much later and Aishwarya’s and Abhishek’s wedding was the main attraction for a long time when it comes to Bollywood weddings.

The way Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya was also one of the best moments for all their fans. Before the release of their film Guru, Aishwarya and Abhishek were in New York when Abhishek proposed to Aish. In a recent interview on Famously Filmfare, Aishwarya was asked to recall the time when Abhishek proposed to her and she was quick to say, “of course, I remember. During Khwaja Mere Khwaja (song from Jodha Akbar), sitting as a bride, and I am like, OMG this is surreal, all happening on-screen, off-screen, this is bizarre and Ashutosh is like you are engaged and I am like what." Apparently, Hrithik Roshan her co-star in the film gave her a thumbs up for the engagement.

Thanks to social media, Abhishek and Aishwarya keep giving us relationship goals the way they conduct themselves and take care of their little daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The couple has been married for over a decade now and has always come across as a husband-and-wife who is always on the same page. The couple shared a lovely family photo yesterday and wished their fans for a Happy New Year.
